[To say that he was surprised when the Karakura Town around him faded into this rather dilapidated looking place would be an understatement, but Urahara was adaptable and upon finding the PCD on the ground next to him, had proceeded to look through the various text messages on the network.]

It would seem like I have been transferred to an alternate world, hopefully not the result of the Tenkaikezzu malfunctioning since I checked the calculations again and again before activating the pillars. Well, if it is, I have to say... this would probably be the most dramatic miscalculation I've made to date! Either way, aside from Unohana-taichou and Hisagi-fukutaichou, might I ask who else is here?

[He appeared in front of the house with a soft whisper of shunpo, cautiously knocking at the door, not sure if this was indeed Yoruichi's house as his senses were still adjusting to this place.]

[ The door slid open nearly as soon as he had knocked, standing there with a sigh, and a smile of relief, stepping to the side, motioning for him to come in ]

You have no idea how glad I am to see you.

[He smirked.]

[ She leads him back into the house, sliding open the doors to the main room where a fire not only lights, but warms the room. ]

It doesn't have electricity yet, I'm still working on that. But it's nice, and familiar. Reminds me of home, almost.

[He smiled, waiting for her to take a seat next to the fire before he took a seat as well.]

[ She kneels, tucking the uchikake she wears under her legs gracefully, just like the noble she once was. She silently adjusts the strap on her shoulder that holds back the long sleeves before settling her hands in her lap ]

The shop, mostly, but there are times I have looked around and almost have seen myself back at the Tenshi Heisouban.

[He smirked slightly at that sight, knowing all too well how very un-noble-like she could be at times. Nonetheless, he kept silent and sat down cross-legged next to her, shoulders touching.]

[ With a small grin she'll nudge his shoulder with her own ]

It's good like that. Makes it less likely I'll get home sick.

[ She falls silent for a moment ]

So who all have you spoken with from home so far?

[He nudged her back while thinking.]

Inoue-san, Hisagi-san, Mayuri-chan, Unohana-taichou and Zaraki-taichou... Who else is here?

Quite a few, actually. Toushirou, Jyuushirou, Ichigo, Rangiku, and two of the arrancar, though from what I understand there is a cease fire in effect.

[ After a small pause ] And then Sousuke is here, too. But this one, he's still Shinji's fukutaichou.

[He nodded at each of the names, pausing a bit at the mention of the arrancars before outright frowning when Aizen was brought up.]

Shinji's vice-captain? Then he's already been on his path for a while...

We don't know if he is from before of after we left Soul Society. He won't tell, it could be either, no matter how often he might refer to me as 'Shihouin-taichou'.

Unohana-san has been planning a meeting between the shinigami so we can decide a course of action, but it has been a little difficult with people coming and going so nothing has been done yet.

It doesn't particularly matter in the long run whether or not he is before or after we left Soul Society. Shinji made him his lieutenant because he distrusted the man and wanted to keep a closer eye on him. Aizen himself said that he accepted the position because Shinji's distrust was ideal for his plans.

[He paused to take in a breath.]

Do you understand? He had been planning all this before he even became a fukutaichou, so no matter what the current Aizen may say, he is not innocent.

[ She nods with a sigh. She's heard all this before, but gods it's been ages. ]

I know, which is why I have advised people not to trust him. I have even spoken to him and told him not to expect trust from the others.

[He sighed.]

Why do I get the feeling that they aren't listening to your advice?

Because they're probably not. He's a deceiver, and he always will be. People will be drawn to his false charms, no matter what we say.

I understand why those not from our world would, but our fellow shinigami?

No one that I've noticed. All of them seem intimately aware of what's happened, except Jyuushirou. I believe he's from before Sousuke's betrayal of Soul Society.

[A small sigh of relief.]

Oh good...

[Because, yes, his opinion of those from Seireitei can still fall so low under stress.]

[ She understands, after what happened... yeah ]

So, what has happened back home? I was still recovering from the encounter with the two arrancar that popped up in Karakura when I arrived here.

Ah... Well, Inoue-san was kidnapped by an arrancar while another group of them acted as a decoy, Hitsugaya-taichou and his group were recalled to Soul Society, Kurosaki-kun and his friends went off to try and rescue Inoue-san and Yamamoto-soutaichou gave me some orders to prepare for the winter war, which I had just finished when I was pulled here.

[His tone and smirk make it sound like it was nothing.]

[ Wow so much has happened since she's left, she almost feels bad for almost being able to relax every so often.
But she hears that tone, and she's back to nudging him with her shoulder again. ]

You make it sound like nothing but a walk in the park.

[He grinned and nudged her back.]

Well, for a genius like me...

[ *nugdenudge* Cause, she hasn't seen him in like three months ]
