It would seem like I have been transferred to an alternate world, hopefully not the result of the Tenkaikezzu malfunctioning since I checked the calculations again and again before activating the pillars. Well, if it is, I have to say... this would probably be the most dramatic miscalculation I've made to date! Either way, aside from Unohana-taichou and Hisagi-fukutaichou, might I ask who else is here?

I suppose it depends on the area. But, I know people here are from all kinds of places and times, I was from 1914 myself. Amestris as a whole...was at war, both civil and externally, because of our leader. I can't say I know too much about that, I'm not part of the military or anything, but that's how it was.

Resembool was quiet, peaceful, out in the country, so we didn't tend to get too much news from outside the area, for the most part.

Ah, no, I am currently exploring this place. It is very interesting, if a bit in the need for some repairs. Why don't you run over the basics with me again, just to make sure that I have everything right?

Well, this place is called Adstringendum, and it's brought a bunch of people from all over and different times, thanks to the Animus and the scientists. If you die, you have to 'pay' something to be brought back. Sometimes the people here are from before or further on then you remember back home if you have friends here.

Oh. And there are 'events', usually every month or so. Usually gets pretty crazy.

You have to pay something? And events?

Yes, if you die and are brought back here, you do. And the events vary, I think being only able to use text is one, for example. There's been a snowstorm before, and they made us think we were going back home. I've been here for a couple of them or so myself.

But exactly what do you pay? And you said 'they', exactly who are 'they'?

Oh, "They" as in the Animus, the spirits. I can't say I know too much about them myself though. And as for prices if you die, it varies from person to person.

Interesting... So are the Animus the ones who control this place?

Yes, I think so. Them and the scientists, from what I've gathered.

Yes.

Are they here with us?

Mm, well, we can speak to them, and I've heard some have seen them, I think.

What are they like?

It varies, I think there is more then one, so it depends which one you wanted to talk to. I could be wrong there though, but I think there are more.

Interesting, interesting... It would be quite the experience to see their data.

How am I to know? They might. Might not.
