_{[And Ukitake does come in, though it’s without a word or other gesture of acknowledgment. Which...might be weird, or else he’s having a bad day. Even happy old farts can have off days, after all. But even so, he walks farther into the room, though almost out of the PCD’s frame, before reaching out blindly behind him, automatically expecting his hand to be taken, even if he says nothing to encourage it.]}

_{[Urahara’s eyebrows go up slightly under his hat before he easily reaches out and takes it, brushing his thumb along the other man’s knuckle, a small frown of confusion silently asking if something was wrong.]}

_{[Ukitake doesn’t speak for a moment as he looks over his shoulder at Urahara and purses his lips. Then he tugs on their joined hands, wanting the younger man closer.]}

You’re still wearing this, even inside.

_{[Without waiting for an answer, he lifts his other hand to Urahara’s precious hat and pulls it off.]}

_{[There’s a small pout when Ukitake does that, and Urahara steps closer, one arm stretching out towards his hat.]}

Ah, well, I am rather attached to it after all~

_{[And he holds the hat farther away, but his gaze doesn’t leave Urahara’s face.]}

_{[There’s a slight tilt of the head before Urahara lets a small smirk spread across his face.]}

But there’s nothing special about my eyes, Jyuushirou-san...

_{[Ukitake leans in closer, almost as if he is studying that claim.]}

_{[He moves a little closer, his lips hovering over Urahara’s, and speaks, just loudly enough for the PCD to pick up.]}

That’s not the only part of you I find special.

_{[The hat is dropped and forgotten by Ukitake as he reaches to the front of Urahara’s clothes, fingers slipping inside the fabric so he can pull him close and actually kiss him this time. Any space between them is a shame and needs to be remedied as quickly as possible.]}

I was not aware that the PCD was on at all. Otherwise I would very much have liked this to have stayed private.
